Parramatta RiverVolunteers who are fluent in both English and another language were trained to conduct nature tours in the Parramatta River area.

Up to 10 volunteers who spoke Mandarin/ Cantonese, Arabic or Korean as well as English were trained. Volunteers received free accredited training in presenting tours to members of the community. Once trained, the volunteers assisted in organising and promoting the nature walks. These walks were conducted in the volunteers' language. The walks were designed to increase the participant's  understanding of their local natural areas.
