Chairman, Mark Bethwaite AM
- Now a professional director, Mark Bethwaite has a degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA.
- He has been Managing Director of two of Australia’s largest mining companies – North Limited in Melbourne then Renison Goldfields Consolidated Limited in Sydney - for a total of ten years. He was also Managing Director of one of Australia’s leading industry associations for five years before retiring in 2006.
- For four years until mid 2011, Mark was Chairman of Austral Gold Limited which now produces gold from the Guanaco Mine in northern Chile.
- Mark represented Australia in sailing in the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games and has won World Championships in a number of classes.
- Mark was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in early 2011 for services to industry and to sailing.

- Former Mayor of Kogarah City Council, currently serving as a councillor

- Holds a strong personal and professional interest in natural resource management and heritage and the pressures exerted by urbanisation and urban renewal
- Experience on various Local and NSW Government committees including the Department of Planning Building Regulations Advisory Committee; Sydney Water Corporate Customer Council.
- Served as Chair of Kogarah City Council's Urban Planning and Design Working Party the Estuary and Flood Plan Management Committee
- Responsible for the co-ordination and development of Kogarah's Town Centre which won more than 15 design excellence and ecologically sustainable development awards.
